Highlights from the 2025 Delivery Excellence Challenge

For all of us at Geopost, delivery is a promise of reliability, care and innovation. For a fourth year in a row, our Delivery Excellence Challenge brings that promise to life by celebrating the drivers who embody our values on the road, at the doorstep, out of home and in each interaction. 

What is the Delivery Excellence Challenge? 

Our Delivery Excellence Challenge is an annual event that gathers the top drivers across our global network from Europe, South Africa and Brazil to compete in a series of real-world delivery scenarios. It’s designed to test and showcase the skills that matter most to our clients and their customers: safety, sustainability, precision and a positive experience. 

This year’s edition featured five key challenges for all participants: 

• Vehicle Checks 

  Drivers identified and explained safety-critical faults on a static vehicle, from faulty bulbs to tyre damage, reinforcing the importance of roadworthiness and legal compliance. 

• Sustainability Lap 

  A 6km drive in an electric vehicle, scored on sustainable-driving performance. Smooth acceleration, braking and speed control were key to optimising energy use and range. 

• Parking Challenge 

  Drivers navigated tight spaces in a multi-storey car park, demonstrating control, awareness, and safe manoeuvring. 

• Locker Processing 

  A speed and accuracy test involving parcel collection and delivery into lockers, including adapting locker sizes to parcel dimensions. 

• Front Door Interaction 

  A simulated delivery scenario where drivers were scored on greeting, sincerity, initiative, engagement, enthusiasm. 

• Along with the addition of challenges for Geopost’s linehaul colleagues, new participants in this year’s competition. 

Meet the 2025 Champions 

We are proud to announce this year’s winners who demonstrated exceptional skills, adaptability and customer focus, setting the benchmark for delivery excellence across our network: 

1st place: Zlatan Sevriev  from Speedy AD in Bulgaria 
2nd place:  Anil Kelletas from DPD Switzerland 
3rd place:  Jesús Morón Guerrero from SEUR in Spain 

1st place: Linehaul Winner: Peter Cribbin from DPD Ireland 

And a shoutout to : 
Safety Award Winner: Peter Cribbin from DPD Ireland 
Sustainability Award Winners: Daniel Brinker from DPD Germany (PUD) and Duncan Anderson from DPD UK (Linehaul)  

Why It Matters
