TIPSA strengthens its social commitment in Guinea-Bissau
Our Markets 12 June 2026
At TIPSA, we believe that express transport connects not only packages, but also people, opportunities, and futures. That is why we are proud to share a new milestone in our social commitment: the donation made this year as part of our “Solidarity Envelopes” campaign is already having a real impact on the community of Cumbija, in Guinea-Bissau.
The “Solidarity Envelopes” initiative is one of TIPSA’s main social responsibility projects, through which funds are allocated to social projects that improve the quality of life for vulnerable communities. Thanks to the involvement of the entire network of TIPSA agencies and employees, every shipment helps support projects with social, health, and educational impact.
On this occasion, the NGO Kumpu used the donation to purchase a motorized tricycle for the clinic in the village of Cumbija, a rural area with very limited resources and significant difficulties accessing basic services, particularly in health care and transportation. The motorized tricycle has already been delivered and is fully operational, becoming an essential resource for the community.
Its main function is to transport patients to the hospital when their condition requires specialized care. In emergency situations, having a means of transportation can make all the difference. For years, the lack of access to transportation has been one of the biggest obstacles to receiving medical care.
In addition, the motorized tricycle will also improve access to education. It will enable children from more remote villages—who currently walk long distances, more than an hour each way, to attend school—to be transported. This support helps break down barriers and promotes educational continuity.
Furthermore, this donation has been allocated to equipping a recently built multipurpose classroom, which will provide women, children, and youth with a space for learning, training, and educational activities. This new space will be key to creating opportunities and strengthening the community’s social fabric.
This project reflects TIPSA’s commitment to the most vulnerable communities and its desire to contribute to a more accessible world. Through the “Sobres Solidarios” initiative, every small gesture adds up and transforms into real opportunities.
