More than €130.000 in aid was distributed by Fundación SEUR in 2024

Our Markets 9 September 2025

  • Its flagship project 'Caps for a New Life' raised over €46.000 to help ten children finance their treatments for illnesses not covered by the Social Security.
  • The Foundation deployed a special operation in response to the DANA storm, raising €25.000 in direct aid for affected employees. It also transported over 12.400 kilos of supplies to Valencia in collaboration with different NGOs.

Fundación SEUR has released its 2024 Annual Report, a document that outlines the main initiatives developed over the past year and highlights the social impact of its work. Established in 2004, the non-profit organization has become a key player in Spain, supporting children and addressing causes of special relevance to the communities where SEUR, a leading express transport company, operates.

The core of the Foundation is its "Caps for a New Life" project. Since 2011, this initiative has helped 224 children by paying for medical and orthopedic treatments not covered by the public healthcare system. Last year alone, €46,598.49 went to ten families. This adds to the over €1.4 million raised overall from recycling more than 8 billion plastic Lids. This was all made possible by the public, along with companies, small businesses, local governments, and schools that join the campaign every day.

Solidarity logistics has become one of Fundación SEUR structural projects, supported by the company's national transport and delivery network. Through this program, the company guarantees the free shipment of goods to social organizations or provides them at special rates. In 2024, a total of 82 organizations benefited from this service, which involved 6.962 shipments to deliver packages to those most in need. Additionally, 50 organizations were able to send 4.015 packages free of charge, which meant the transfer of nearly 200.350 kilos of aid to Spain and other European countries. Among the organizations that have benefited from this initiative are the Almohada del Corazón, Acción Contra el Hambre y la Fundación Uno entre Cien Mil, which have turned logistics into a key tool to sustain their solidarity work.

On the other hand, Fundación SEUR is also in charge of channeling the solidarity of its internal team through its Volunteer program. In operation since 2013, this project has become a way for SEUR employees, along with their family and friends, to act on their charitable concerns. Throughout 2024, the program collaborated with various associations and organizations on projects with a major social impact, such as volunteering in Valencia after the DANA storm, supporting the Alberto Contador Foundation, accompanying the elderly in hospitals, organizing recreational activities in special education centers, and participating in the Genuine League with Getafe CF.

Fundación SEUR reinforces its commitment to employees and their families.

Under the motto “Estamos con los nuestros”, the Foundation has maintained an internal aid program for employees and company partners since its creation. The goal is to offer support in exceptional situations, such as serious illnesses affecting them or their families, as well as to recognize and promote talent in areas like academics, sports, and the arts. Specifically, throughout 2024, 52 grants were awarded for university-level and vocational training, as well as for special studies, totaling €37.000.

Special campaigns 2024

Once again, Fundación SEUR has joined the "Share and Recycle" campaign, a charitable initiative that collects toys for vulnerable children. The 2024 edition introduced a significant change: some of the donated toys were specially adapted for children with functional diversity, broadening the project's inclusive reach. The Foundation participated with its solidarity logistics program, handling the collection of toys from designated points at El Corte Inglés, Hipercor, and Mail Boxes. The toys were then transported to a reprocessing center, where they were sorted and prepared for delivery. In total, 170.000 kilos of toys were moved, including 6,000 kilos donated by SEUR employees.

Additionally, SEUR activated a large scale solidarity effort to support those affected by the DANA storm in the Valencian Community, in coordination with the regional government and various social organizations. The company provided logistical resources, organized volunteer campaigns, and facilitated internal donations. Through these different actions, over €25.000 was raised in direct aid for affected employees. The company also collected 8.000 kilos of cleaning and sanitation supplies donated by staff and transported more than 12.400 kilos of supplies to Valencia in collaboration with different NGOs.

The company also participated in special initiatives, such as its collaboration with the Musicians for Health Foundation, handling the logistics for the transfer of 60 guitars donated by artists like Alejandro Sanz and Robbie Williams for a charity auction. Additionally, in partnership with Alberto Contador Foundation, it made its delivery points available to collect more than 200 bicycles, which were repaired and later given to families who had lost their vehicles.

In addition, SEUR volunteers got involved in daily tasks such as cleaning homes, garages, and community kitchens. The company also provided affected employees with advice on insurance and access to public aid.
