Geopost scales up its discovery platform, Singular, opening European markets to SMEs

Geopost 4 November 2025

  • With its new cross-border functionality, Singular exposes 100+ SMEs and their 20,000+ products to consumers from 6 countries in Europe, enabling millions of e-shoppers to discover and purchase from local European brands.
  • After successful launches in Italy, Spain, Croatia and Slovenia, Singular is now available in 2 additional countries (France and the Netherlands), reaching a total of 137 million e-shoppers in the Singular countries.
  • Through this initiative, Geopost reaffirms its commitment to supporting SMEs’ visibility, digital growth and international reach, while encouraging consumers to shop locally and sustainably at a European scale.

Launched in 2024, Singular is Geopost’s dedicated digital platform showcasing the authenticity, creativity and heritage of Europe’s local brands. Exclusively designed for SMEs, it offers merchants enhanced visibility and access to millions of consumers through Geopost’s extensive network, including social media channels, websites and local parcel delivery apps. As a showcase platform, Singular does not process transactions directly: shoppers are redirected to the merchants’ own websites to complete their purchases, strengthening SMEs’ independence and visibility while offering consumers a seamless and trustworthy experience.

Martin Calmels, E-consumer Services Director at Geopost said:

With Singular, we are proud to open the European market to small and medium-sized businesses and give them a platform to showcase their craft. By opening the door to cross-border exposure, we are helping local merchants reach new customers across Europe and offer consumers access to authentic products, while supporting the growth of local European companies. Our proven expertise in cross-border delivery provides these SMEs with a complete logistics solution, from outreach to delivery, giving a significant boost their business development.

Empowering SMEs through cross-border visibility

Geopost has developed a new cross-border functionality for the platform, enabling European consumers to discover and purchase products from SMEs not only in their own country, but also across all participating Singular markets.

This major step reinforces Geopost’s ambition to create a strong European flagship of local excellence, helping small businesses grow internationally while offering consumers a unique, borderless shopping experience.

Geopost aims to continue to expand Singular to additional markets in 2026, further strengthening its role as a key enabler of SME digital growth and cross-border commerce in Europe.

A strong momentum across Europe

Since its launch, the platform has recorded over 675,000 unique visitors, with more than 20,000 products available online from 115 e-merchants, demonstrating the growing consumer appetite for authentic, local and sustainable goods.

Building on this positive momentum and the successful rollout of the platform in Italy, Spain, Croatia, Slovenia and France, Singular is also now live in the Netherlands, and the offer in France has been extended to fresh products that will be delivered with Chronofresh. All in all, Singular will now be available to consumers and SMEs in six countries, through seven Geopost’s subsidiaries.
