• Geopost Vision and Nextbase have entered a strategic partnership to enhance high-frequency street-level imagery across Europe and will unveil their combined camera and fleet-data innovation at CES 2026.
• Geopost Vision has deployed high-end Nextbase iQ hardware across the parcel delivery fleet of several Geopost brands, including DPD, SEUR, BRT and Chronopost, enabling large-scale, GDPR-compliant data collection.
• Already active in 10 European countries, Geopost Vision and Nextbase partnership will expand to 20 countries by mid-2026.
• Geopost Vision processes and anonymizes all data in full compliance with GDPR, delivering actionable real-world insights via API for mapping, automotive, infrastructure and smart-city applications.
Geopost Vision, the new venture dedicated to unlocking the value of Geopost’s parcel delivery fleet for mapping and mobility innovation, announces a strategic partnership with Nextbase, the global leader in connected camera technology to accelerate the emergence of a new generation of street-level imagery and mobility intelligence in Europe. Together, the two companies will be present at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, to showcase how connected camera systems and delivery-fleet data can transform mapping, road safety and intelligent mobility.
Through this collaboration, Geopost Vision is leveraging Nextbase’s in-vehicle hardware across Geopost’s European parcel delivery network, equipping vehicles with connected smart cameras that passively collect high-frequency, GDPR-compliant street-level imagery. These cameras operate on vehicles from several Geopost brands, including DPD, SEUR, BRT and Chronopost, transforming everyday delivery routes into a continuous source of real-world insights for partners in mapping, automotive, infrastructure and mobility planning.
The partnership is already active in 10 European countries, including France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Portugal and the Netherlands, and will expand to 20 countries by 2026, enabling the most comprehensive and frequently updated street-level imagery sources in Europe.
“By combining Geopost’s unmatched parcel delivery network with Nextbase’s advanced in-vehicle camera technology, we are building Europe’s most scalable and up-to-date street-level imagery solution,” said Martin Calmels, CEO of Geopost Vision. “This partnership strengthens our ability to support our partners in mapping, automotive development and smart-city planning with ultra-fresh, compliant and reliable data.”
“At Nextbase, we are committed to driving innovation in road intelligence,” said Michael Anderson, CEO of Nextbase. “Partnering with Geopost Vision allows us to combine our technology with Europe’s largest parcel delivery fleets, helping bring smarter mapping, safer mobility and more responsive infrastructure to life.”
A technology partnership supporting Europe’s mapping and mobility ecosystem
Integrating Nextbase hardware into thousands of parcel delivery vehicles allows Geopost Vision to collect real-time road-environment data at scale. The fleet is equipped with specially fitted Nextbase iQ devices capable of capturing imagery in up to 4K resolution at up to 30 FPS, supported by 1Hz GPS and 100 Hz IMU telemetry and a 126° field of view, enabling high-quality, consistent and detailed collection across diverse road environments.
The partnership combines Nextbase’s Crowd-Sourced Imagery (CSI) infrastructure and the Geopost Vision cloud platform and API, which together enable the secure and GDPR-compliant transmission of data from vehicles to end customers across the mapping, automotive, infrastructure and smart-city sectors.
This collaboration delivers:
• High-frequency, continuously refreshed imagery across urban, suburban and rural areas.
• Fully GDPR-compliant data ready for commercial use.
• Actionable insights for ADAS, software-defined vehicles, mapping validation and infrastructure monitoring.
• Strengthened support for smart-city development and mobility innovation.
