Alberto Navarro, new Executive Vice-President Europe of Geopost

As of 1st January 2024, Alberto Navarro is appointed Executive Vice-President Europe of Geopost, reporting to Yves Delmas, Chief Executive Officer.

 

Alberto Navarro joins the Executive Committee of Geopost with a wealth of experience and a proven track record as CEO of SEUR, one of the Spanish subsidiaries of Geopost. He will replace Eric Dietz who is leaving Geopost.

Alberto Navarro, Madrid 1969, joined SEUR in 2009 as CEO of SEUR. From 2022, in addition to his role, he led the Iberian Cluster of Geopost (which encompasses the subsidiaries SEUR, TIPSA and DPD Portugal). During his almost 30 years of professional experience in Europe, he has been closely linked to the express and logistics sector. Prior to joining SEUR, Navarro was Partner at Kearney global consulting firm and held, before that, several positions of responsibility in the Sales and Marketing departments of multinational companies in the sector, such as UPS and TNT Express.

As Executive Vice-President in charge of Europe, Alberto Navarro will be responsible for strengthening our position in Europe, accelerating our development in strategic vertical markets, the out-of-home segment, and consolidating our cross-border growth.

Commenting on this announcement, Yves Delmas stated:

With Alberto Navarro joining the Geopost Executive Committee, David Sastre is appointed CEO of SEUR. David Sastre has been an integral part of the SEUR team since 2010. Chief Customer Officer since 2016, David has an in-depth knowledge of the company and of the market. His customer orientation and forward-thinking mindset make him the perfect choice for this leadership role.

Biographies

Alberto Navarro, Executive Vice President Europe of Geopost

Alberto Navarro joined SEUR in 2009 as General Manager and became CEO in 2012 and in 2022 also assumed the responsibility for the Iberia Cluster – SEUR, TIPSA and DPD Portugal. During his almost 30 years of professional experience in Europe and Latin America, he has been closely linked to the express and logistics sector, dealing mainly with organization, strategy, and supply chain management issues.

Before joining SEUR, Navarro was Partner of Kearney, global consultancy firm, and held several positions of responsibility in the Sales and Marketing departments of multinational companies in the sector such as UPS and TNT Express, in Spain, United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium. Graduated in Economics and Business Administration, from the Complutense University of Madrid, he has completed his education with the Program for Executive Development by IMD, Lausanne – Switzerland.

David Sastre, CEO of SEUR

David Sastre is an Industrial Engineer and holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Carlos III University of Madrid. He has completed his training with an Executive-MBA at IE Business School. Before starting his career at SEUR, he has worked in the field of business consulting for companies such as Kearney or PwC, highlighting his experience in strategy design and execution, operations and process improvement, and organizational redesign.

Since joining SEUR in 2010, Sastre has managed different areas in a transversal way with a clear customer commitment aimed at all the company's stakeholders. He previously held the position of Chief Customer Officer at SEUR, integrating Strategy, Internal Organization, Sales, Customer Service, Digital, Points of Sale and Marketing and Communication. In addition to his professional work at SEUR, Sastre develops an extensive teaching activity in IE Business School and the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
