Chronopost renews Platinum certification from EcoVadis, a world-renowned CSR rating agency

Chronopost, the French leader in express delivery of parcels weighing less than 30 kg, has once again seen an increase in its CSR rating after 14 years of steady progress. France's leading express delivery company has achieved its best ever rating, with 81 points out of 100. This score enables it to retain its Platinum certification issued by EcoVadis, and its position among the top 1% of companies in its sector. This reaffirms Chronopost's commitment to more responsible logistics.

 

Strong growth in ethics and responsible purchasing

Chronopost's ethical rating has risen from 60 to 70 points in the space of a year, thanks to the introduction of a new anti-bribery alert system.

Chronopost has also seen a similar increase in responsible purchasing, with the introduction of a charter to address this issue in 2023.

 

Performance in reducing carbon emissions

Chronopost has retained its environmental score of 100/100, achieved in 2022 and unchanged since then. This rating reflects Chronopost's investment over several years in transforming its fleet, which now includes 20% low-emission vehicles. To date, Chronopost has made last-mile deliveries to almost 70 towns and cities using more than 1,400 electric vehicles and cargo bicycles. For long-distance deliveries, more than 270 biofuel-powered HGVs criss-cross France.

These advances are fully in line with the approach of Geopost, Chronopost's parent company, which is aiming for net zero emissions by 2040, as approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)  in February 2023.
