Fundación SEUR and MVGM sign a collaboration agreement for the project "Tapones para una nueva Vida"

Since its launch, this solidarity project has helped almost 200 children across Spain thanks to the collection of more than 7.602 tons of recycled plastic caps.

Fundación SEUR has signed a collaboration agreement with the company MVGM Property Management Spain, a division of the MVGM Group, dedicated to real estate management. The company has become part of the volunteers’ network of the project "Tapones para una nueva vida", for the collection of plastic caps at their facilities in Madrid and Barcelona. This event, held at the SEUR’s offices, was attended by Elisa Navarro, Managing Director of MVGM, and José Manuel García, General Coordinator of Fundación SEUR.

José Manuel highlighted the value of this agreement because

"it means adding more than 100 MVGM employees as collaborators for our Foundation's main project. In this way, we will continue to actively contribute to access to medical and orthopedic treatments not covered by Social Security for many sick children and young people without resources".

In the words of Elisa Navarro, Managing Director of MVGM,

"sometimes in the business world we lose sight of the basics: behind the figures, statistics and benefits, there is a common denominator: people. For MVGM, collaborating with Fundación SEUR is very motivating, since we work to help children and their families to overcome the obstacles they are forced to live with on a daily basis due to illness and to cover their basic needs, generating equal opportunities and providing lasting solutions. A cap is a simple act, but it is a great injection for the beneficiaries of the project to keep fighting every day".

This is not the first collaboration shared by Fundación SEUR and MVGM, both are also involved in the Fundación Crecer Jugando project, called "Comparte y Recicla", this campaign tries to give a second life to toys in the hands of the children who need them most.

In this project, Fundación SEUR is in charge of transporting the toys from the pickup points to the reprocessing center, and from there to the recipient NGOs. For its part, MVGM participated in 2022, contributing 505 kg of toys.
