Geopost, a leading international parcel delivery network and innovation-driven logistics provider, will return to VivaTech 2026 in Paris from June 17 to 20, 2026, to showcase a new generation of intelligent, operational and sustainable delivery innovations designed to support the future of commerce, mobility and urban logistics.

At VivaTech this year, we are proud to showcase innovations that bring the power of AI, operational data and smart infrastructure to life across the logistics chain. At Geopost, innovation is not just about technology, it is about creating scalable, responsible solutions that empower our teams, enhance the customer experience, and help shape more sustainable, efficient cities for the future.

declared Martin Calmels, Innovation & New Services Director at Geopost.

As digital transformation, AI and sustainable urban infrastructure continue to reshape logistics and commerce, innovation remains at the core of Geopost’s strategy. Leveraging its operational scale, technological expertise and entrepreneurial culture, the Group develops solutions that combine operational excellence, customer experience and environmental responsibility. Through collaborations with startups, technology partners and internal innovation teams, Geopost continues to explore how AI, automation, data and smart infrastructure can create more efficient and resilient delivery ecosystems.

Geopost’s and its subsidiaries’ main innovations presented at VivaTech 2026 will include:

  • Parcel Matching (Chronopost) – An innovative solution combining Machine Learning and Generative AI to solve one of logistics’ most complex operational challenges: identifying parcels with missing or unreadable labels. By combining image recognition, visual analysis and probability scoring, Parcel Matching significantly reduces rejected parcels, improves delivery efficiency and enhances customer experience.

  • Geopost Vision – A newly launched business unit, transforms Geopost’s delivery network into the largest street-level imagery platform in Europe, providing continuously updated data on the road environment. The solution helps power smarter & safer mobility, mapping, and urban infrastructure services.

  • ProGlove (DPD France) – A wearable technology solution deployed within DPD France’s sorting depots to improve operational efficiency, ergonomics and risk prevention.

  • Pickup Solar Lockers – Fully autonomous solar-powered parcel lockers requiring no electrical connection or installation work, enabling rapid deployment and 24/7 accessibility for out-of-home delivery services. Drawing on renewable energy, they help cut greenhouse gas emissions and minimize environmental footprint.

These innovations illustrate how Geopost is leveraging AI, operational data, smart infrastructure and sustainable technologies to shape the next generation of logistics and urban services.

As part of the event, Benoît Frette, CEO of Chronopost, one of Geopost’s key business units, will be featured in a live interview on VivaNews TV, on June 18 at 10:05 a.m., sharing insights on innovation and present a unique innovation in the parcel delivery market: an agent-based customer service assistant deployed by Chronopost. Equipped with generative artificial intelligence capable of conversing in natural language, Chronopost’s autonomous agent understands recipients’ issues, independently resolves simple cases that generate the most calls, pre-qualifies the most complex cases and takes the necessary steps to meet the customer’s needs.

Additionally, Martin Calmels, who is also CEO of Geopost Vision, will participate in a panel discussion on June 19 concerning data powering the next generation of urban mobility, exploring how road data can be instrumental in designing safer, cleaner and more efficient urban infrastructure.
