  • CEO Stefania Pezzetti: Strategic hub for the area's economy, quality services for business growth, optimal customer experience and reduced environmental impact

A 4,500-square-metre warehouse, a 15,500-square-metre yard, 3,500 of which are green areas, 80 employees, suppliers and warehouse operators, 4,000 shipments per day.

These are the key figures of the new BRT branch in Cessalto (TV), inaugurated today by CEO Stefania Pezzetti. The Cessalto facility is located in one of the country's most intensive industrial and manufacturing areas. The branch serves the territories of the Treviso, Belluno and Venice provinces and towns on the Venetian and Friulian coast, as well as being the dedicated branch for Outlet Village in San Donà di Piave.

The new structure will increase BRT's business opportunities in the area and improve the efficiency of its entire network in the North-East, a central hub of the Italian economy. Businesses will have efficient, advanced services at their disposal that are capable of increasing their competitiveness and attractiveness, also in support of their international expansion. Thanks to a new package handling system and location, there will also be an improvement in the quality and timing of deliveries.

"Cessalto is a strategic hub for the economy of the Veneto region and the entire North-East. This new branch will allow us to further boost the quality of our services to the companies in the area, to take advantage of new business opportunities and to develop a workforce”

commented Stefania Pezzetti, CEO of BRT.

"This new facility is part of our strategy to renew and develop our network and services in order to create an optimal, quality purchasing experience and reduce environmental impact. In fact, its location allows for a reduction in the kilometres travelled by lorries and city vehicles and those travelled by vans in the delivery and collection areas".

The Cessalto branch can handle any type of product and is equipped with forklifts powered by lithium batteries. It accommodates both Messaging and Parcel vehicles, with a picking sorter for automatic parcel sorting, and a handling system designed to manage both current and future volumes.
