DPD Poland has been awarded the Great Place to Work certificate

17 March 2021 - DPD Poland has been awarded the Great Place to Work certificate, joining the exclusive group of employers who were recognised in a survey conducted by an independent international organization. The title is awarded on the basis of an external audit and employees’ opinions expressed in anonymous surveys.

The Great Place to Work certification survey has been conducted for almost 30 years, currently in over 7,000 organizations in 69 countries. Its purpose is to verify the current status of organizational culture in the given company against the best workplaces in the country, the region and the world. Therefore, the certificate provides clear and universal confirmation that the company is a trustworthy employer.

"Our goal is to ensure that all employees and subcontractors work in a friendly, development-enhancing environment. DPD Poland is a responsible employer who also cares for a non-discriminatory and stereotype-free work environment. In the past year we were faced with many challenges related to the sense of security in private and professional life. This certificate confirms that not only our long-term policies for human capital management, but also solutions proposed for the time of the pandemic have been well received. It clearly confirms that we have managed to create and maintain a friendly and engaging atmosphere even under such difficult conditions as the global health crisis’ commented Marta Westrych-Andrzejczyk, HR Director at DPD Poland and Member of the Management Board.

DPD Poland employs almost 4,000 people and cooperates on average with 7,500 couriers in over 60 depots throughout Poland. The company offers wide opportunities for professional development, as well as various employee benefits, including private healthcare, access to a benefit platform or the "baby bonus". DPD Poland also cares about the safety of its employees and associates. By reason of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has reorganized its work in offices and depots, provided them with personal protective equipment and, where possible, introduced working from home. DPD Poland also cares about the engagement among employees thanks to open, consistent and regular communication as well as many commitment- building initiatives.
