"Danos la Lata" closes its first edition collecting nearly 2 tons of canned food

The project has collected, in its first phase, almost 2 tons of food that has already been delivered to the main Food Banks in Spain. ¨Danos la lata¨ is a solidarity project that supports the corporate values and the base of TIPSA's Corporate Social Responsibility.

 

¨Danos la lata¨, an initiative led by TIPSA in collaboration with FESBAL, Spanish Federation of Food Banks, in its pilot edition and first year has already met 20% of the final goal with almost 2 tons of non-perishable canned food that has been delivered to the main Food Banks in Spain.

This project has been possible thanks to the involvement of the TIPSA Agencies Network, who have requested help from their main clients to collect food. TIPSA Agencies and their clients have succeeded in obtaining more than 800 kg of food, which has been delivered to Food Banks all over Spain.

On the other hand, TIPSA Central also had the collaboration of important customers. Together with the goods collected at its headquarters, TIPSA made a special donation thanks to the funds collected from its employees, which has allowed the purchase of an important amount of canned goods.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the agencies and clients who have collaborated in the campaign "Danos la Lata". 

Thanks to your efforts and generosity we have managed to collect nearly two tons of canned food, which have gone entirely to the local Food Banks, to help people and groups at risk of social exclusion. With your support and solidarity we bring hope to those most in need and generate a positive impact on our entire community. We hope that the success of this first campaign will continue to grow in future editions.

TIPSA also has other annual solidarity projects such as the renowned Solidarity Envelopes. Last year, TIPSA donated more than €40,000 to non-profit associations such as Menudos Corazones, Mensajeros de la Paz, Diabetes Cero, Fundación Prodis or the NGO SILO.
