Madrid, 11 June 2020 – SEUR Logistics, SEUR's business area dedicated to offering a complete logistics and transport solution, opens its new center in Illescas that will allow the company to expand its storage capacity by 40% and improve the efficiency of its operations in Madrid.
This new 37,000m2 center promoted by Goodman for SEUR is located in Illescas, specifically in the first eco-industrial park, La Veredilla II, thus highlighting SEUR's commitment to the environment. These facilities have the Breeam Very Good certificate of sustainability in construction, clean photovoltaic energy, a fire-fighting system with its own cistern, as well as natural light or, failing that, artificial lighting through LED lights, elements in line with the company’s environmental policy.
SEUR also offers maximum security to its clients, for this reason the new warehouse will have the TAPA certification that accredits the maximum security of the facilities. It is an independent warehouse with perimeter fencing, with access control through facial recognition, a license plate reading system, a closed circuit TV, video analytics, surprise lighting and dissuasive audio.
Beyond the sustainable characteristics and the high security certificate, this new SEUR center in Illescas is also one of the most innovative. From the operational point of view, the implementation of ‘pick and put to light’ stands out, as well as other systems that will improve the operation of the center.
In addition, the new center will have a controlled temperature area that ranges between 10 and 20 degrees. In short, a series of innovations that will allow the company to offer the most complete service to its clients.

This new warehouse represents the unification of the operations of the Getafe logistics center (15,000 m2) and Alcalá (12,000 m2) in which SEUR Logistics used to operate.
